The USV 3.6 is a heavy payload vessel that can break down and ship internationally in two standard 60″ pallet containers. It can be easily reassembled on site in 45 minutes to conduct multi sensor surveys in remote locations. Like the USV 2.5, no boat ramp required to launch. The USV 3.6 can support large sensor systems such as the R2SOnic 2024. It’s endurance with Multi-beam allow for 12 hours of continuous survey in conditions up to Beaufort force 3-4, and is the only vehicle available with an autonomous cast winch. Our vehicles are of the most advanced, safest, and intuitive to operate on the market and interface seamlessly with QINSy and HYPACK. Users can create and edit surveys in these programs and our vehicles will autonomously respond in real-time. They are compatible with auto line generation in which subsequent survey lines are generated automatically based on MBES coverage and overlap. This is considered depth adaptive line generation.
In addition our systems offer robust redundant systems and fail safes. We monitor and flag alerts if poor MBES data, GNSS, or INS data is collected. The vehicle will automatically interrupt the survey so that users are not unknowingly collecting low quality data. We offer exit boundary faults, obstacle detection and avoidance, and anti-grounding capability.
These systems allow users to interface only with the data acquisition software by autonomously monitoring their own health and status. They require over site only if issues arise. This allows surveyors to be much more efficient than when surveying with convention vessels or competing products. The requirement for minimal oversight frees up a surveyor to operate multiple vehicles at a time, or post process acquired data in real-time via QINSy Quimera of Caris Onboard.
