The Trelleborg modular nano-buoy assembly is used in subsea infrastructure development or ROV deployment in order to hold equipment and infrastructure in a precise configuration. Able to be assembled in custom configurations to provide specific levels of buoyancy, the modular nano-buoys are useful in applications where moderate to light subsea uplift is required.
Rated to a depth of 3,000 m and made of syntactic foam, the interlocking male and female spigots of the individual flotation modules prevent units from shifting or rotating when in use. By adding or removing individual units from the flotation stack, buoyancy can be adjusted in roughly 75-pound increments.
